Vaccination Monitoring
Many infections we have encountered in the past no longer exist due to extensive immunization efforts. Vaccination remains the most effective method to control seasonal infections and the most important strategy to prepare for a possible epidemic or pandemic. Quantification of antibodies helps to measure the individual's immune response to a disease-specific vaccine and to evaluate the effectiveness of an ongoing immunization program. In the vaccine development process, it provides an understanding of the correlation between vaccination protection and antibody levels.
